Minor Update

If you used to check my Twitter stream in the center column at the bottom of my blog, you would have noticed I have just replaced it with my Google Buzz profile stream instead. Yes, you can still see the my Twitter activity, but you will also be able to (1) see aggregated content/activity coming from other sources in one place, (2) subscribe to the stream, and (3) comment on each of the entries. As, I said, a minor update to improve its functionality a bit more.

ScribeFire is a Firefox extension that allows you to blog from the browser itself—as shown for this blog on the above screenshot. ScribeFire allows you to post to different blogs, edit past entries, select the category, and modify other post information such as the publication post date. The ScribeFire extension also allows you to blog about the current page you are browsing or to add it to your delicious bookmarks.

Consolidating my blogging

Finally! I have been able to consolidate two of my blogs into this new domain . I just moved over my old IlliGAL blog and my newer DITA one. I started blogging after the push at IlliGAL, and when I moved to NCSA I took the habit with me into DITA. There are also a few more satellite blogs around (that I may or may not bring over here), but the final goal is to regroup energies and restart the blogging in a more unified manner. Let’s see how it goes…
